Application process

Additional Information

1.   The payment verification process through Apartments.com can take up to three days.1.  Everyone living in the unit is subject to the Resident Selection Criteria. 


 2. Everyone 18 years or older, will: 

  • attend the private property showing or view the online walk-through video.
  • Fill out the online application, 
  • submit a digital copy of their ID, 
  • submit proof of income and employment, if their income is to be used for the needed 3x the rent, Resident Criteria.


3. We break up the reference checks and costs so that if a household/family doesn't want to or can't move to the next step in the process, they don't have to pay for the next fee. 


4. ALL FEES ARE NONREFUNDABLE and include:

  • $25 Application fee per application for application processing and the Previous Landlord and Employment reference checks.  This is paid via credit or debit card. As soon as the application fee is paid, those checks begin. 
  • $25 Initial Pet screening Fee per pet. If a lease is signed, the $25 per pet will be paid to Petscreening.com. The fee will be credited back toward the Pet Admin Fee. 
  • $30-$45 Credit History, Criminal History, and Eviction Background Check through Transunion SmartMove.
  • If there are additional fees or authorization is required by employers, those will be pre-paid to Moore Property Solutions before processing can occur.


5. Pet screening will be completed by ALL applicants, whether there are pets in the home or not.  If the applicant does not have a pet, the screening fee is waived. Go to  https://moorepropertysolutions.petscreening.com 


5. Moore Property Solutions will notify you of your Application status as you proceed through the process.  


6. When the processing of a background check is completed and approved, applicants can pay for the next step (Pet screening, Credit/Criminal/Eviction, etc.).


7. Background checks done outside of Moore Property Solutions will not be accepted.


8. If all background checks come back as approved, there will be an invitation to meet to go over the lease.


9. Meet and Greet and pet approval.

 

10. Authorization to make payments and setup software will be given.


11. If all parties are in agreement with the expectations and desire to sign the lease a link will be sent at that meeting to  sign and make payment via payment processor and software provided by Moore Property  Solutions. 


12. The lease will be signed virtually by every occupant 18 years of age and older.


13. We suspend processing all other  applications and background checks  once the lease is signed by all parties in the lease.


14. Payment of money needed at signing is due in our account within 48 hours, of signing the lease. If payment is not received within that time frame, the lease can be voided due to nonpayment.


15. It is suggested that the tenant(s) call and begin the process of placing utilities in their name. The start of the utilities should be on or after the day of possession.


16. The first month's full lease payment (including Pet Rent) is due before taking possession of the unit. If payment is not made before the date of possession, the money due at lease signing will be forfeited to compensate for lost rent and administration.


17. Move in on the date of possession or there after.

 

18. Inspection report is due within three days.
