- Everyone living in the unit is subject to the Resident Selection Criteria.
- Everyone over the age of 18 must:
- fill out and return the signed application,
- submit a digital copy of their ID, and c. proof of income
- submit to help@moorepropertysolutions.com.
- Moore Property Solutions will notify you of your Application status.
- If the application is accepted, applicants above the age of 18 will receive an email with instructions on how to pay for and complete the background check process.
- Payment of $10 per application to begin previous Landlord and Employment reference checks. This will be payable via Venmo. If there are additional fees required by employers to get employment confirmation, those will also be payable to Moore Property Solutions.
- If reference checks align with Resident Selection Criteria, a credit, criminal, and previous eviction background check costs around $45 per applicant. The applicant will pay for the background check directly to Transunion Smart Move. Once started, these fees will not be refunded for any reason. Background checks done outside of Moore Property Solutions will not be accepted.
- If approved, there will be an invitation to sign a lease and begin the payment verification process with Apartments.com. The payment verification process through Apartments.com can take up to three days.
- The lease will be signed virtually by every occupant 18 years of age and older.
- We suspend processing other applications, once the lease is signed by all parties in the lease.
- Payment of the security deposit via the payment portal is due within 48 hours, of signing the lease.
- If payment of the security deposit is not started within 24 hours, the lease can be voided due to nonpayment.
- It is suggested that the tenant(s) call and begin the process of placing utilities in their name. The start of the utilities should be on or after the day of possession.
- The first month's full lease payment (including Pet Fee and Pet Rent) is due before taking possession of the unit.
- If payment is not made before the date of possession, the security deposit will be forfeited to cover the costs of lost rent and administration.
- On the day of possession, there must be a walk-through inspection by at least one of the lease signers.
- After the walk-through, a set of keys to the doors and possession will be given to one of the lease signers present.
